"On 27 September 2021, the Business & Administration group of the pre-vocational training held a simulation election at the Euro-BBW Bitburg, in which they themselves and the other pre-vocational training sections re-enacted the Bundestag election. Beforehand, they learned a lot about the parties and their election programmes and then presented them in a summarised form to the other departments in a factual way. This gave everyone the chance to identify with a party and its positions. Every participant - including minors - was given a certificate of eligibility to vote.

For election day, a voting room was set up with tables for voting that were protected from view, a place for the election committee and a ballot box. In addition, original ballot papers, on which a simulation was once again pointed out, were prepared. On that Friday, 30 out of 40 participants voted."

Incidentally, the result of the simulation election differed significantly from the real Bundestag election.
