Euro-BBW certified as European School!

The Ministry of Education of Rhineland-Palatinate has informed us that the vocational school of the European Vocational Training Centre has been certified as a "European School of Rhineland-Palatinate". In his letter, State Secretary Hans Beckmann emphasises the "excellent application with the documentation of diverse measures and projects" and congratulates us warmly on the certification.

European schools promote Europe-oriented intercultural competences through, for example, foreign language teaching, the integration of European topics into lessons, project-oriented school partnerships or professional internships in other European countries, as well as through the professionalisation of teaching staff in relevant European topics. In this way, European schools contribute to the cosmopolitan education of young people and to the further growing together of Europe - which is more important today than ever before.

"We will continue our efforts to convey and spread the idea of Europe in order to support living together in a united Europe in the future," emphasises the school management.

After our application for ERASMUS accreditation in the area of vocational education and training was approved by the National Agency "Bildung für Europa" at the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training at the beginning of the year, the certification of the vocational school as a "European School of Rhineland-Palatinate" is now an important further step for a holistic internationalisation strategy of the Euro-BBW.

We are very grateful for the award and look forward to our certificate being presented to us officially at a later date.
