In recent weeks, various projects have been carried out with our new participants in the pre-vocational training program (BvB) to help them "arrive" at the Euro-BBW and to support them in establishing contacts with other participants. At the same time, they get to know all the employees of the pre-vocational training program, the premises and the grounds of the facility, as well as the support content and goals of the pre-vocational training program.

In the "Respect and Tolerance" workshop, which was prepared by our employee Dörte Lange, the participants first researched these terms in group work and collected suitable characteristics and forms of behavior. Afterwards, they watched the film "Simpel". The film is about the brothers Barnabas (called Simpel) and Ben, who run away to Hamburg after the death of their mother in order to save Barnabas, who is mentally handicapped, from being moved to a home. Different characters appear in the main and supporting roles of the film, whose characteristics were entered and assigned by the participants in sheets with regard to the topic of the workshop.
