Pre-vocational Training
The pre-vocational training (abbreviated BvB) available at the Euro-BBW is geared towards young persons who need room for further personal development before deciding on a particular career.
With the BvB courses our participants are prepared to start a vocational training or are enabled to be integrated into the labor. It is focused on vocational orientation in a wide range of different fields of work.
The offer to our participants comprises
- the differentiated aptitude analysis,
- the basic level with the main element „vocational orientation/choice of profession“,
- the second level with the main element „vocational basic skills“,
- the transitional qualification with the main element „career und business-oriented qualification“.
The following fields of activity and resulting careers can be discovered at the Euro-BBW:
- service in retail and catering trade
- IT applications and general office economics
- home economics and culinary arts
- material processing
- horticulture and landscape gardening / cultivation of ornamental plants
The courses are realized at different learning locations in and outside the Euro-BBW:
- in our modern workshops and offices,
- in our vocational school,
- in our study workshop,
- in our resident groups and leisure facilities and
- in the companies offering internships.
A BvB course normally takes 12 months to complete. We can, however, structure the pre-vocational training depending on the age and individual requirements of the participant.
During the course a team composed of collaborators of the departments training, vocational school, support of the residential groups as well as psychosocial support is at the participant’s disposal.
