Work on the construction site in Crete is progressing for our five apprentices in gardening and landscaping and our three future carpenters. This photo gallery is intended to give an impression of the many working steps our group has taken: they have built a bell tower, laid mosaics, built railings, stairs and paths, and repaired many things. You can see that the work on the meditation path is very exhausting. Nevertheless, all of them are highly motivated and work with enthusiasm - the beautiful view of the sea and bright sunshine compensate them a little for their efforts. Moreover, at the end of the course they have a wonderful result that will bring joy to many people and of which they can be proud.

In addition to a lot of theoretical and practical work, Cretan culture and history are not neglected: Last weekend, for example, they visited the botanical garden in Omalos and the German military cemetery in Maleme, as well as the olive oil production at Biolea and the oldest olive tree in Europe. During a typical Cretan evening, our trainees and colleagues were even able to dance the Sirtaki.
