The training group Tourism Management Assistants (TK/ KTF 20+21) went with our trainers André Strasser and Tanja Ewen to an event at Saarbrücken Airport. The airport had invited together with the airline SmartLynx and the tour operator TUI to the product presentation for the summer 2023.

The evening began with a champagne reception and a social gathering with snacks and a good atmosphere. A warm welcome followed and the program of the evening could start.

First of all, the airport's managing director Markus Bunk introduced himself and once again gave us all a warm welcome. With a short review of the last years and a look into a promising future, he laid the foundation for a great evening and the following program. Afterwards, SmartLynx Country Manager Germany Oliver Pawel took the floor and introduced us to the upcoming season and the product range. The local press spokesman Jan Limbach also addressed a few words to us.

Sven Winterstein from TUI Germany then introduced the TUI product presentation, which was then continued by Bianca Trost from TUI Germany, Thomas Krebs from TUI Magic Life and Nina Hable from Robinson Club. The various speakers gave insights into TUI Magic Life properties, new TUIfly routes and much more.

After the presentations, there was a buffet for everyone, and we were allowed to visit a SmartLynx airplane, including the cockpit! The evening ended in a sociable round, with many new impressions and new knowledge we went in the night again direction Bitburg.
