Voluntary Year of Social Service (Gap Year)

• You don't know yet precisely what to do after school, and you'd like to explore new ideas?
• You'd like to collect working experience and develop necessary competences?
• You are waiting to be accepted to university and want to use this waiting period wisely?
• You'd like to test yourself within a new scope of duties, in a modern institution?

We offer different spheres of action for your gap year!

During your gap year you'll get advice from skilled employees as well as instruction courses (in total 25 working days). You'll receive pocket money, free catering, social security payments, recreation periods, a subsidy for your accommodation and, of course, a certificate. Depending on your field of working your gap year can be acknowledged as a pre-university work placement or as an internship needed for a subject-specific university entrance qualification. Such a gap year in Germany usually takes 12 months, but we offer a prolongation to 18 months, too.

Specialists for supplementary teaching required!

We are looking for experienced people who are able to offer supplementary help in school and/or vocation related subjects for individual participants or for groups. There is, for example, a demand for commercial accounting, information technology, English/French or German. Sometimes our participants have individual requests for supplementary teaching in subjects which might open up further career prospects (such as Latin).
