This week, our pre-vocational training team visited the "Didacta" in the Cologne Exhibition Centre. This education and training fair is a highlight in the education sector every year, because exhibitors from Germany and abroad offer a comprehensive overview of new methods, learning materials and technical solutions in the education sector.

The fair is divided into the three thematic worlds of early education, schools and vocational qualification, whereby our six colleagues were of course most interested in the third thematic world. There they were able to inform themselves extensively about the latest learning materials, innovative approaches and exciting concepts for vocational preparation and vocational training. There was a lot of information and illustrative material at the individual stands, including for media competence training and various prevention offers, which now needs to be sifted through. The fair also provided an opportunity to exchange ideas and share experiences with other institutions. Thus, our colleagues also had many stimulating conversations and gathered impressions.

In addition to the exhibition, there was also an extensive supporting programme with lectures on various topics, including how the professional world is changing in the context of digitalisation.

After many stimulating conversations and impressions, our colleagues arrived back in Bitburg in the evening safe and sound, but tired, and agreed: Didacta is definitely worth a visit!
