A fair around the world at the Euro-BBW

Last week "A fair around the world" took place in the Euro-BBW. This travel fair around the most beautiful time of the year was planned, organized and carried out by our trainees of the professions tourism clerk and clerk for tourism and leisure.

In line with the motto, the trainees looked at interesting travel destinations around the world in the run-up to the event and finally decided on South Africa, Thailand and the Maldives as well as the Hotel Schloss Lieser on the Moselle. The presentation of Saarbrücken Airport as the hub for transportation to the destination was intended to round off the program.

Visitors from the region were thus delighted by a colorful mix of presentations from external speakers who had been invited by our tourism trainees to talk about various travel topics. Michaela Lenz and Sabine Schamburger from Boomerang Reisen whetted the guests' appetite for a trip to South Africa, where in addition to culture, hospitable people, beautiful natural landscapes and impressive biodiversity, you can also get your money's worth in culinary terms.

André Strasser presented the Hotel Santiburi on Koh Samui (Thailand) as well as the Resort Ayada Maldives on the Maldives. During his presentations, one almost had the feeling of being in one of these luxury hotels oneself and experiencing the tranquility, the country-specific delicacies and wellness offers and breathtaking beaches for oneself.

Almost every vacation begins at the airport and almost always with stress. Antje Wiesemann from Saarbrücken Airport illustrated that this does not have to be the case. This regional, manageable airport scores with short distances, personal service, inexpensive parking options and a sophisticated flight schedule.

Lara Vogt then presented the magnificent Schloss Lieser, which boasts spectacular views of the Moselle and vineyards, individual rooms and a spacious spa & wellness area, and is popular for special events, gastronomic experiences or a relaxing wellness vacation.

During the event, the two trainees Annabell Arendsen and Linda Daub led confidently through the program and ensured happy winners at the final raffle.

A big thank you goes from the trainees and trainers of the tourism area to the speakers as well as to the colleagues of the training area office management and to various employees of the Euro-BBW for their support.
