Joiners manufacture products out of
wood, derived timber materials and
plastics – primarily on a made-toorder
and small-lot production basis –
such as furniture, interior and trade
fair furnishings, structural elements
(windows, doors, stairs, floors, gates
and similar structures), enclosures,
containers and coffins as well as gymnastic,
play and sports equipment.
They maintain these items and restore
them, giving consideration to the
design, style and aesthetic effect.
They perform this work both in
workshops and at construction and
installation sites.
Joiners are able to design, draw and, if applicable, discuss a work order with customers on the basis of their own ideas according to design and functional aspects. They carry out the work independently on the basis of technical documents and instructions. At the same time they keep economic aspects in mind. Finally they evaluate the work result and take measures for quality assurance. To implement these basic principles, training at Euro-BBW is conducted on a project-oriented basis. In this way the trainees take on real orders from the institution and carry them out with a high level of quality. A joiner’s workshop with CNC processing centre is available to them for this purpose.
