Travel time at the Euro BBW

Totally soaked, a bit exhausted but – apart from that – safe and sound, our bicycle team arrived in Trier on Saturday afternoon, 1st July.

For the 7th time in a row, five participants of the Euro-BBW and their counsellors Thomas K. and Judith F. took part in the Fairplay Tour through the border region. They started in Koblenz and went by bicycle through the Eifel-Ardennen region in Rhineland-Palatinate, Belgium, Luxembourg, Lorraine and Saarland to Trier, overall 750 km. With the aid of sponsors they could gain funds for the German Famine Relief which is used for concrete projects in Rwanda, the partner country of Rhineland-Palatinate. Not only was the route transnational but also the mix of cyclists from pupils to adults, coming from all countries of the border region. You will be informed in detail about this challenging tour by our team in the near future. We would like to pay our respect to all who took part and stayed the course!

While the one group returned, another group headed off for a summer camp to Southern France. During 11 days they will discover the Provence with all its beauties of nature and its cultural heritage. We are looking forward to beautiful pictures and interesting travel experiences about which we would like to inform at this point. We wish all passengers to France nice adventures and good recreation.
