Many visitors at the Euro-BBW

Last Sunday, many visitors accepted the invitation to our „Open Day“ with the motto „We're living Europe“.

There were many visitors at the Open Days of the Euro-BBW in Bitburg who followed our invitation in order to catch up on current training projects, vocational school, psycho-social and medical services as well as our living and leisure sector: interested citizens, business partners and friends from the region, but also from Luxembourg and France. Open workshops and classes and guided tours through the buildings gave an insight behind the scenes of this special training centre which offers 250 qualification places.

With the motto „We're living Europe“, our open day referred this year to numerous transnational contacts and projects which give the Euro-BBW its particulare profile throughout Germany. Besides „home-made“ honey of our „bee project“ and other well-known products of our Tea and Eifel shop, we offered crafted native olive oil from Crete for the first time which will be offered and marketed in the long term within the framework of a training cooperation of our future gardeners in collaboration with the Chamber of Agriculture of Rhineland-Palatinate as a project of our retail trade vocations.  In their „open workshop“ our future gardeners presented a currently developed, high-quality „wellness swining lounger“ made from wood which will be produced as an in-house product in a small series. As the result of a draw, one lounger will delight a citizen from Wittlich.

While parents relaxed with coffee specialities and cake in our training restaurant „Finesse“ entspannten, their children can enjoy a broad offer of sports and games with climbing wall, archery, goal-shooting contest, a balloon bath, child make-ups and handicrafts at our leisure center. The “Seiwerather Musikanten” as well as Frank Rohles and Marco Lehnertz as “Freaky Voices” provided skillfully for great music and entertainment. At the evening, our trainees and employees were satisfied with the positive response of the visitors and the relaxed athmosphre during the day.
