Euro-BBW goes Crete

If you presume that our staff prefers to visit Northern European countries, we can now remove this misunderstanding: Two colleagues of the field horticulture and landscape gardening are drawn towards the South, namely the Greek island of Crete. Together with 12 other horticulture trainers from Rhineland-Palatinate they will pass a one-week learning experience in Crete in October 2016 within the framework of the programme Erasmus+. During their stay they are hosted by the Orthodox Academy of Crete (OAK) in Kolymbari in the North-West of the island where also the working units, speeches and talks will take place. The academy is a modern training centre and organizes also national and international conferences and workshops concerning the orthodox religion, Crete or Cretan cuisine. You can find more information about the academy as well as some photo impressions of its wonderful location (at the coast!) at www.oac.gr. Even if the programme of this learning experience is packed with a lot of working units on different subjects, work will be done easier as there is the prospect of a refreshing bath in the Mediterranean Sea :-)

By now, we wish our two colleagues a good time and many lasting impressions of this wonderful island!
