Journeys Home

The working and school day normally lasts until 4:30 pm. However, we finish lessons and training at 1 pm every second Friday to allow boarding participants to make a visit home.

A special application can be made to the financial bearers (in many cases the employment agency) for a refund of travel expenses. The application form is normally sent automatically. Should you not receive one, please ask the group consultant.

Many participants travel home by train. The Euro-BBW organises an appropriate bus shuttle transfer to and from the railway station at Bitburg-Erdorf. As an extra service, participants can book and pay for rail tickets directly via our inhouse travel agent.

While a journey home is principally allowed on all weekends, travel expenses are only paid on the official home visit weekends. Participants must organise their own bus transfer on any other weekend.
